Artistic Director:
Lindsay Ritter is a talented teacher, choreographer and director with more than 15 years experience working with dancers of all ages.
Lindsay attended The Randolph Performance Academy in Toronto where she trained in dance, drama and vocal. Some of Lindsay’s performance credits include: Fame-The Musical, Legends Tribute Show, MuchMusic, City TV, The Comedy Network, Paramount Canada’s Wonderland, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
Lindsay currently runs and directs an independent dance company: LR Productions, which provides professional dancers and packaged dance productions for corporate events, shows and entertainment.
Lindsay’s rapport with her students is reflected in her confidence and professional relationships she has built over the years. With the combination of training and work experience, Lindsay has been able to transform her love for dance into a successful and rewarding career.
Assistant Director:
Krista Duncan started off as a competitive gymnast but when she took her first dance class at the age of 13 she knew this was where she belonged. She started training more seriously and upon graduating high school, she made the move to the big city to attend George Brown College’s dance program, where she broaden her knowledge in jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical/contemporary, modern, acrobatics and hip-hop.
Krista soon after got the opportunity to perform at the 2008 Grey Cup and Casino Rama’s Superbowl party. Some other performance credits include Canadian Children’s Aid Foundation Gala, The Chocolate Ball Fundraiser and Hennessy’s Black Seduction promotional party. Krista has worked with Much Music choreographing and dancing in the Doritos “Name the flavour” award show, Shawn Desman’s “Night Like This” music video and the Toronto Marlies Dance Pak.
Being apart of LRD has given Krista wonderful support as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She has performed in many LR Production shows like Woman in Dance, MuchMusic Best Dance Crew, The Bazaar, and Dance Ontario.
Lead Choreographer:
Angela Caporiccio is a passionate and imaginative Dancer, Teacher and Choreographer who has taught and performed through out Canada, USA and Europe.
After completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at York University, Angela traveled to New York City to continue her studies as a gradate student at New York University (NYU). During her studies at NYU, Angela joined the Kaleidoscope Dance Company where she performed and taught for many inner city elementary school students in New York City. Angela also became a member of New York University’s Experimental Music and Dance Company and traveled abroad to perform in Genoa Italy. Upon graduation from NYU, Angela then joined the José Limón Professional Studies Program (PSP) and was immersed in the technique and legacy of José Limón. During this time Angela was invited to dance as a guest with José Limón Dance Company to re-vamp some of José Limón’s original works.
Following her enlightening and inspiring experience in New York City, Angela Caporiccio returned home to Canada and to York University to complete her Bachelors of Education Degree. Upon graduation from the Faculty of Education, Angela founded the Regional Arts Dance Program at Iona Catholic Secondary School in Mississauga Ontario. Throughout this time Angela has also been a guest speaker and presenter at many conferences such as the 2005 National Dance Educators Organization (N.D.E.O) and 2012 Healthy Dancer Canada annual Toronto conference.
Angela is currently the Dance Director of Iona Catholic Secondary School Regional Arts Program, but continues to perform and choreograph throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Most recently Angela has had the honor of joining the LR Productions creative team as one of the lead choreographers and looks forward to working with all the amazing talent within LR productions!
