Erika Tucker

Erika has over eighteen years of dance training and performance experience. She has studied R.A.D. and Vaganova ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, pointe, pas de deux and ballroom. Erika has competed throughout North America, winning multiple awards and scholarships. After completing a month-long summer program, she was accepted to Toronto’s prestigious National Ballet School of Canada, but declined to pursue a career encompassing diverse dance genres.
Erika has trained in Québec at Ballet Divertimento and Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal, and in Toronto at Metro Movement, O.I.P., and City Dance Corps. She has studied under Blake McGrath, Robin Antin, Danny Davalos, Stephen Findlay, Stelio Calagias and Petter Toth-Horgosi. She recently performed with Carla Catherwood’s Nuvo-Burlesque troupe in Alice in Wonderland.
Erika has earned featured dance roles in Clarkson Music Theatres Thoroughly Modern Millie and Etobicoke Musical Productions’ Hello Dolly and The Producers. She was a CFL cheerleader for the Hamilton TigerCats, performing at all home games and representing the TigerCats at promotions and events. The season highlight was dancing for an audience of over 65,000 at the 2008 Grey Cup, and sharing the experience in her blog on cbcsports.ca. Erika currently belongs to The Dance Company and has performed in corporate and charity events such as the Teddy Bear Affair Gala.
Most recently, Erika traveled to Norway to teach a ten-month contract at the Ørsta Volda Ballet School, where she directed the jazz and hip hop program for students ages 7 to adult. This experience allowed her to choreograph, design and stage the original production Dance Into Love. She was also fortunate to attend a street dance workshop with Danish performance artist Eva Schou and has since choreographed two flash mobs as well as routines for Tammy Frederick’s Lights of Broadway musical theatre cabaret.
Erika is extremely excited to be part of Lindsay Ritter’s talented roster and looks forward to the creative growth and innovative performances ahead.

Erika is a young up and coming teacher/choreographer. She is grateful to say that she is training beside some of the top teacher and choreographers from both Canada and the United States.
Erika found her love and passion for dance at the early age of six when she took her first dance class at Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance. As of now, she has received extensive training in the styles of Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern (Graham, Horton, Limone) and Hip Hop. Alongside from training at Sean Boutilier she has also received training from the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and the Quinte Ballet School of Canada.
Erika continues to grow and excel as a choreographer while achieving overall awards at competitions throughout Canada. Her goal as a teacher is to bring her students talents and abilities to new heights, while developing their everyday skills. Erika loves to see the continued passion for dance with those who she interacts with and she is honour to be a part of LR Productions.

Bianca fell in love with dancing at the age of 2 after her first dance class and has never stopped since. She is highly trained in a wide variety of disciplines including jazz, tap, lyrical, modern (Graham, Limon), contemporary, acro, hip-hop as well as R.A.D and Russian Vaganova ballet. She loves to expand her knowledge of dance and consistently grow, not only as a dancer but also as a teacher. She is currently attending York University, working towards her BFA as well as a minor in Kinesiology, which will work towards her study in Consecutive Education in her final year. Bianca has taken part of many dance performances at York University as well as musical theatre shows with Steppin’ Out Productions such as “The Pajama Game” and “Stage and Screen”. As a performer Bianca is very versatile and can adapt to new challenges thrown her way. She has had the opportunity to travel and learn from renowned choreographers from all over the world. Bianca has competed in Canada, as well as the United States, winning countless awards and scholarships throughout her years. Bianca currently works with recreational and competitive children, striving to teach them all that she knows while maintaining a fun professional environment. She enjoys seeing the growth in those that she teaches and hopes that she can inspire many to continue their journey in dance. Bianca has choreographed many routines and has a strong passion for exploring different ways the body can move and translate a message. She is honored to be apart of LR Productions and is excited for what’s to come!

Alex Sinha

Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Alex made the move to Toronto last May in search of opportunity and adventure. After completing her B.A. in psychology from Carleton University and spending 4 months working onboard the Disney Wonder, she is here pursuing her passion for dance and the arts.

Alex began dancing at the tender age of 3. She trained at the Children’s Ballet Studio in ballet, jazz and tap before joining the competitive team at Greta Leeming Studio of Dance at age 11. There, Alex discovered her love for tap training under Tami-Lynn Caloia and received the highest mark on her intermediate and advanced tap exams (A.D.A.P.T). Alex holds her Intermediate certificate in RAD ballet and is highly trained in jazz, tap, hip hop and contemporary. Alex has competed in multiple competitions and dance offs both nationally and internationally winning countless awards.

Alex attended Canterbury High School, Ottawa’s school for the arts, specializing in dance. There she trained extensively in ballet and modern which both improved her technique and sparked her passion for contemporary-modern. At Canterbury, Alex had the opportunity to choreograph many routines as well as participate in other students’ work performing in annual show cases. She appeared in productions such as “My Fair Lady” “Hansel and Gretal” and “Cinderella.” She graduated with a 98% average and distinction in dance. Throughout her time in Ottawa, Alex has taught many different styles of dance to children ages 3 to 14. She choreographed routines in jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop and organized bi-annual recitals.

Since moving to Toronto Alex has trained at multiple studios including O.I.P., City Dance Corps and Lindsay Ritter. In Toronto, she has performed at the Pearson Street Festival, was featured in music videos and was a featured soloist in “Paper Moons of Jupiter”, an art production at the Enwave Theatre.

Alex is very excited to be part of Lindsay Ritter Productions and can’t wait to see what this year brings!

Kaleela Dominic is a well rounded and versatile dancer, having trained in a variety of disciplines from multiple instructors. She started her training in St. John’s, Newfoundland where she studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, lyrical, hip hop and burlesque as well as completed the Intermediate Cecchetti Ballet and Advanced 2 Tap Examinations (ISTD). Kaleela is currently a BFA Dance student at York University where she primarily trains in ballet and modern technique. While in Toronto, she also trains at OIP, taking classes and workshops in jazz, jazz funk, street jazz, hip hop, and contemporary from top dance professionals. This past year Kaleela has also trained with Lindsay Ritter Dance in contemporary and commercial jazz as well as Nuvo-Burlesque with Carla Catherwood. Always looking to broaden her dance knowledge, Kaleela has travelled to train at various dance studios in New York, Montreal, and Ottawa.

Kaleela is very passionate about performing. In her hometown of St. John’s she has danced in many local shows including “Do You Think You Can Dance”, where she was named the winner of the soloist division (NDW, 2010), “Damn Yankees” (Gonzaga High School, 2009), “Our Divas Do Christmas on Broadway” (TaDa, 2009), and “Our Divas Do Broadway” (TaDa, 2008). She has also performed with local dance company NewFoundDance. Most recently, she performed with Newfoundland hip hop crew, Soul Steps, opening for 605 Collective’s “Audible” at LSPU hall. New to the Toronto scene, she has performed in shows at York University, Nuit Blanche, and with the Nuvo-Burlesque Training and Performance Group.

Finally, Kaleela has experience teaching many different genres of dance. She was a teaching assistant and substitute for 2 years in ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop for dancers ages 3 to adult as well as taught modern and jazz workshops in association with NewFoundDance. This past summer, Kaleela taught weekly drop-in classes in contemporary, jazz, jazz funk, and hip hop.

Sarah Jean is originally from Owen Sound and currently lives in Toronto. This actress/dancer/singer has recently filmed episodes for “Nothing Personal” “Urban Legends” “Ghostly Encounters” and “Outlaw Bikers.” She was seen in a short film “Apartments” and will be in the upcoming film “Chameleon.”  Some theatre credits include “Fame” – The Musical and “VDay Toronto 2010.”

Sarah Jean began classical ballet training Cecchetti Method at the tender age of 5. Performing in numerous dance shows, passing exams at the National Ballet School of Canada, and placed third in the “Dance Grand Prix Italia” World Dance Competition within jazz and hip hop.

Sarah Jean has also obtained her Intermediate Ballet RAD Method. She is highly trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Tap. She also taught ballet, jazz, and hip hop at all levels in her hometown studio for four years and continued teaching at local schools in Toronto.

Sarah Jean moved to Toronto when she was accepted at The Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts Triple Threat Program. She was also a student at The Professional Actors Lab Studio studying with John Gordon and David Rottenburg and has completed classes at The Second City in Toronto.

Sarah Jean recently joined the “LR Productions” in this years “Talent Defined 2011” She is thrilled to be among such talented people and can’t wait to grow and create with this company.  Huge thanks to Lindsay Ritter!

Maria Demasi is a Dancer/Actor/Singer who is extremely excited to be a part of Lindsay Ritter Productions.

Maria started dancing at the age of five and has not stopped since. After dancing 13 years competitively in all genres of dance, Maria studied Commercial Dance at George Brown College where she was lucky enough to be trained by Industry professionals. After graduating she went on to work for Carnival Cruise lines where she traveled around the Caribbean, performing production shows nightly.

Since returning home she has had the opportunity to perform at events such as Pride Toronto, Teddy Bear Affair Gala, Summer Splash Ontario Place, Children’s Aid Foundation Gala, Luminato at Dundas Square and The Raptors Fundraising event at the Air Canada Centre.

Recently Maria has worked with KRT productions choreographing and dancing for their Annual Christmas production called The Christmas Gift. She has also danced in the Doritos “Name the Flavour” televised award show and Shawn Desman’s “Night like This/Electric” music video.

Maria is also an experienced dance teacher, a fitness professional with certifications in personal training and group fitness, and is providing dance education in the school systems as the newly co founder of Designed to Dance. She is thrilled to begin working with Industry Professionals as part of LR productions!

Jami’s love of dance started at the young age of 5 and has since helped her develop into a passionate and accomplished dancer and performer. With more than seventeen years of training and performance experience, she has studied many different styles of dance including Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Tap, HipHop, Musical Theatre, Cabaret, Acro and Jazz Funk. She has not only received Honours on both her Ballet & Tap C.D.T.A. examinations, but she has also won several awards at various competitions and festivals across Canada. She has recently graduated from the OIP Dance Company training and performance program of 2 years. Jami has performed in a number of live productions, including “Women In Dance”, “The Bazaar”, the musical “West Side Story” and was head choreographer for a Canadian production of “Oliver” as well as an assistant choreographer for the annual variety show “Uxperience”. Her television appearances include a feature in Torro Torro’s music video titled “Blue Blouse”, Season 1 of the new hit TV Series “Get Up & Dance!” on BPM Television as well as a competing member with LR Productions on the popular New.Music.Live’s “Much Music’s Best Dance Crew”. Currently, Jami continues to train with Toronto’s top dance instructors and educators while maintaining her Studio Manager position at Toronto’s very own OIP Dance Centre. She is also a respected competitive and recreational dance coach and choreographer for students of all ages and levels. In the studio, Jami is able to share her extensive knowledge and love of dance with her students where she continues to inspire, create, and challenge.

Giada began dancing at the age of 3 in Ottawa, Ontario with the Ottawa Dance Centre School. She is trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, and lyrical/contemporary. Giada is a graduate of the Dance Performance Studies program at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario where she also added acting and singing. She is planning on continuing her studies for a BFA at York University.

Born in Leiden, Holland, Netherlands, her high school years were at Canterbury High School in Ottawa where she was accepted into the Dance Arts Program. The program helped her to further develop and improve her technique. She was part of the Dance Ensemble group while at Canterbury, and danced for Andrea Nann, with a performance at the NAC for the Canada Dance Festival. As a member of the George Brown Dance Ensemble, Giada has performed throughout the GTA and Ottawa, dancing at TIFF 2010, Nuit Blanc and the Choreographer’s Ball.

In her spare time, Giada teaches and choreographs for different dance studios in Ottawa and has also given workshop in contact modern. She is excited to be a member of Lindsay Ritter’s LR Production Company and is looking forward to working with everyone.

A native of Owen Sound Sarah Mills started dancing at the age of 6. Sarah graduated with a Certificate of Professionalism and Certificate of Achievement from George Brown Dance, where she studied Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Acting and Singing. She was a member of the George Brown Dance Ensemble, touring across the GTA. Sarah has worked with choreographers such as Malgorzata Nowacka and Derek Sangster. Sarah attended Theatre Ontario Summer Youth Program(Music Theatre) as well as Arts Umbrella Summer Dance Intensive where she trained with Glenn Gilmour,Lesley Tilford and Marc Boivin. Sarah has performed in Pride, It’s Always Something at the Princess of Wales Theatre, TOM: A Musical (Sheatre production). Sarah has been a company member of Divine Heritage Artistry under the direction of Lopa Sarkar since Febuary 2008 and is very excited to be apart of LR Dance Productions!
