Giada Marie Arianne Salvi
Giada began dancing at the age of 3 in Ottawa, Ontario with the Ottawa Dance Centre School. She is trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, and lyrical/contemporary. Giada is a graduate of the Dance Performance Studies program at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario where she also added acting and singing. She is planning on continuing her studies for a BFA at York University.
Born in Leiden, Holland, Netherlands, her high school years were at Canterbury High School in Ottawa where she was accepted into the Dance Arts Program. The program helped her to further develop and improve her technique. She was part of the Dance Ensemble group while at Canterbury, and danced for Andrea Nann, with a performance at the NAC for the Canada Dance Festival. As a member of the George Brown Dance Ensemble, Giada has performed throughout the GTA and Ottawa, dancing at TIFF 2010, Nuit Blanc and the Choreographer’s Ball.
In her spare time, Giada teaches and choreographs for different dance studios in Ottawa and has also given workshop in contact modern. She is excited to be a member of Lindsay Ritter’s LR Production Company and is looking forward to working with everyone.
