Kristy Coleridge

Kristy is a versatile dancer who began dancing at the age of 3 in Innisfil, Ontario
and has since then trained extensively in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, musical theatre,
acro, hip hop, streetstyle and lyrical/contemporary. Kristy is a recent graduate
of the two year Performance Dance Studies program at George Brown College in
Toronto, Ontario. At the age of 14, Kristy was chosen to dance for the Toronto
Blue Jays Dance Team, which was a huge accomplishment at such a young age.
Kristy has completed her ballet exams with the Society of Russian Ballet up to
the elementary level and has also received her Teacher-in-Training Certificate.
Kristy is currently working towards her Associate Teachers Certificate. Kristy has
been teaching and sharing her love and knowledge of dance with her students
at the Barrie School of dance for over 5 years as well as recently gaining the
position of choreographer for Marquee Theatrical Productions in Aurora, Ontario.
Kristy has recently performed at various events, fundraisers, corporate parties
and festivals across Ontario including the 2009 Toronto PRIDE parade, The 23rd
Annual Children’s Aid Foundation-Teddy Bear Affair, Talent Defined ’09, Ontario
Place-Summer Splash, the Toronto Zoo-Zoozapalooza and Women In Dance ‘10.
Most recently Kristy was chosen to tour for two weeks with The Canadian Forces,
traveling to the military bases located in Goosebay, Labrador and Alert, Nunavut
to perform for the men and women stationed there. Kristy continues her training
by regularly attending workshops taught by some of the most sought after
teachers and choreographers in the dance industry. These master classes have
helped to enhance her abilities not only as a dancer and performer but also as a
teacher and role model. Kristy is excited to be working with the amazing Lindsay
Ritter and all of her talented company members!
