Meg Boland
Meg Boland began dancing at the age of 8 at The Dance Shoppe in Milton, Ontario. She quickly found a passion for dance, and began training in various dance styles including jazz, tap, ballet, acro-jazz, modern, lyrical, and many others. Over the years she has competed internationally and won numerous awards and scholarships, including the title of Miss Teen Halton 2007. She recently completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance and psychology at York University, which provided her the opportunity of working with many choreographers, both student and professional. Recently performing as a Bollywood dancer and an aerialist/acrobat, Meg has performed at such prestigious events such as Pride Toronto, Nuit Blanche, Buskerfest, and “It’s Always Something!” at the Princess of Wales theatre, among many others. Other dance credits include concerts and character shows.
Meg is a certified acrobatics instructor, as an associate member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing. She loves to instill her passion for dance in students of all ages, and has been teaching many styles of dance for six years at competitive and recreational levels. Her students have won many special awards, as well as overall high scoring solo awards. In 2010, she won the top acro/open choreographer award at Luv 2 Dance competitions.
Meg is very excited to work with LR Productions and all of the talented dancers on their roster!
