Meghann Bronson
Meghann was born and raised in Port Perry, Ontario. She attended O’Neill Collegiate and Vocational Institute, where she was accepted into the Performing Arts Program for vocal music, drama and dance. O’Neill offered an excellent opportunity for Meghann to develop her acting and singing skills. She participated in both chamber and jazz choirs throughout her four years there, and played the lead role in the musical “Little Shop of Horrors”.
Meghann is entering her fourth year at York University for Dance and Dance Science. She is a member of the York Dance Ensemble, and has enjoyed performing modern and contemporary works with well-known choreographers including Susan Cash, Debra Brown and Meagan O’Shea. Meghann also had the opportunity to work with MFA students Tracey Norman and Angela Blumberg.
Meghann is a new member of Lindsay Ritter Productions, where she is rediscovering her love for jazz. She is looking forward to being a part of the company, where she has been given the opportunity to work with several other talented dancers.
Working with different choreographers and performing in a variety of styles worldwide is Meghann’s long held dream. In addition to being on stage, she hopes to one day integrate her love for dance with her interests in anatomy and kinesiology.
